The 12 Day Novena to St. Therese the Little Flower begins today to be completed on Christmas day! Many thanks to Jessica at a Shower of Roses for the reminder! Run on over there for the prayer and instructions! How can you not love St. Therese? Our sixth child was named for dear St. Therese, and my husband shares her birthday on January 2nd. Did you know that she loved the winter, because she delighted in the purity and cleanness of the snow? She was thrilled when, against all odds (miraculously!), it snowed on the day of her profession. Her childlike simplicity and love for the Child Jesus make Christmas and St. Therese go together like snow and snowmen. What a perfect devotion for the last two weeks of Advent!
