Of one of my new camera's very first photos?
I'm still playing around with it... learning all the functions and such, but so far, I love it. We ended up getting a Sony cybershot, the same camera our sons have. It was on sale and had all the features we wanted, but it's so tiny compared to my old Kodak Easyshare I'm afraid I'm going to lose it!
But here ya go; isn't this something? One birthday present taking a picture of another birthday present -- both from Dan. I got a couple other things I'd like to share, too.. but I'm so tired out, I'm going to fall asleep on the keyboard if I don't quit and go to bed. In short, though, it was a wonderful birthday today. I'll catch up on all the news and all the visits I've been missing as soon as the weekend calms down. Hugs and many thanks for all the birthday wishes! Like Gabe says:

have you ever tried to root storebought cuttings? I got a bunch in a vase...no roots yet...
How sweet that you got a camera for your birthday and so did I, but I haven't even started using mine (part of the gift is that Michael is to figure it all out for me and then I use it).

Happy Birthday! The picture looks great! We have a sony too, and really like it except for the way the usb plugs into it, kind of wobbly. Oh, I love the roses!
