The Johnny Appleseed Blessing

Today is Johnny Appleseed Day!

Here is a sweet and simple little prayer attributed to the original Mr. Appleseed.

Oh, the Lord is good to me,
And so I thank the Lord
For giving me the things I need
The sun, and the rain, and the apple seed.
The Lord is good to me.

    Oh I haven't heard that little diddy in so long! I used to sing it all the time growing up. Thanks for bringing it back into my head. I'm going to be singing it to my boys now. =)
